A: HTML is general code that web pages are built upon. osCommerce is PHP based code that is more enhanced allowing better options in programming for typical storefronts.

A: Yes, any template you have or acquire can be transformed into a working template for osCommerce using extended modules made for this software.
Q: I don’t want to pay for extra security for payments.
A: PayPal would probably be your best course, as they do not charge you monthly, only a small fee per transaction. They also provide a secure means for your customer to make their payments and have buyer/seller protection as well.
Q: How do I upload my inventory? Sounds difficult.
A: We provide an upload sheet that allows you to edit your store inventory when you desire, then upload it to your store via any Internet connection. We also provide a simple instruction sheet that walks you through the process.

Q: Why don’t you have free sample templates?
A: We feel that each person has their own idea/taste what their site should look like. We give you the opportunity to browse the Internet and see what you like first, and then we can produce a sample page for your approval without paying a dime. Many others want to charge or hammer you with emails and calls to get your business. We would prefer you browse, and then come see us.
Q: Do I have to sign a contract for your monthly service management?
A: Absolutely not! However, if you are not paying our insanely low monthly service, you will be charged accordingly for services performed. Please see our service plan(s) before thinking about costs. Our service plan is incredible and cannot be beat for what you get.
Q: I am not familiar with the search engines and how they work, can you help us?
A: Yes, of course. We do not generally have a separate service for just SEO(Search Engine Optimization), but we do offer optimization in our monthly service plan. Please read our SEO page and see what to expect with any company you hire for optimization
Q: I do not have a domain name, how do I get one?
A: Domain names are very easy to obtain providing you have a name not being used. One’s that are taken already may be for sale or up for auction at various places like Godaddy. Search the Internet under domain names and you will have thousands of places to choose from.
Q: I have a domain name but don’t know how to transfer it.
A: We can handle the transfer of your domain name for no extra charge when we build your storefront.
Q: I have my own images to use but cannot crop them properly.
A: We will handle all of the necessary edits to your images at no extra costs.
Q: Does LA Webstores use allot of Flash images?
A: We try to keep your storefront simple as possible for various reasons. Our main issue is your customer’s satisfaction. Today, you have very little time to keep someone’s attention on your website, and to be honest, who wants to wait for even seconds to view some flashy image that doesn’t help them get to where they need to buy your product?
Q: I have created web pages before, why do I need you?
A: We create a service for the business owner that does not know all the steps required to build a functional and successful storefront. There are literally thousands of things to do and know in order to have a successful running storefront and we take pride in being able to help these owners.
Q: I would like to have an auction site like ebay.
A: LA Webstores does not at this time create auction style websites. We focus on storefronts for your product giving a simple solution to customers that want to purchase on the spot. Many do not have time to sit and wait on auctions.
Q: How soon before I go live?
A: There is allot of information to gather first If you had absolutely everything ready, we could have you running live within 2 days. Please note, this is optimal time frame and typically take 1-2 weeks depending on the type of site needed.
